I’m going home this weekend for the second time but not on a good note. My dog “Thunder” is not doing so well and my parents told me that he doesn’t have much time left. Thunder is a 13 year old black lab that we rescued from the pound when i was only 5. I think I love that dog more than I do myself. I would definitely trade places with him so that he could live on. He is the best dog I’ve ever been around and literally has done nothing wrong from what I can remember. He’s loyal and extremely obedient, he’ll do whatever you say no matter the circumstances. So it goes without saying that its been a very emotional week for me. They say all dogs go to heaven, but i can only hope i can say goodbye before he goes.

Well I skipped my last class Friday in order to get home sooner so I wouldn’t be spending my Friday night on the road. So 3 1/2 hours later I arrive in the he said she said small town of Rushville, IN or Rushtucky as some like to call it. So I went straight home to see my white, chocolate, & black labs. That was first on my list because being without animals down here is really weird to me considering we’ve had multiple dogs all my life. Then I get a call from one of my football buddies and hes having a bash at his dads, which is surrounded by woods and no chance of it ever getting busted by the notorious super cops of rush county………………………………………………………So the next morning I wake up and everybody is shocked when they see me and tells me to go look at my face. I go to a mirror and to my surprise my face is bloody, bruised, and scratched to hell. Then I somewhat recalled what had happened. Me & my friend Lance took a joy ride on the Rhino and flipped it pretty badly that night. I looked back in the mirror and smiled because now, I knew that I was home.
